I took the day off as we Michiganders navigate another instance of our typical weather-games. What do we think local yocals? We gunna get smashed, or will this be another blown call by the weather wizards? If you goons go out, try and take some pics of your baby in the snow!! I myself will be toasty at home, scouring these forums next to a warm fire. Stay safe Rangeroos ??

Zero, but we are having a cold front here. Highs are only going to be 63 and lows in the mid 30's for the next 3 days. I don't know if I'll survive these temps....Send blankets! ? ?

That will be rough, but unfortunately its ice cold here, and Dooly doesn’t have any blankets to spare ???

Not the 11-15" they forecast yesterday, but I'm guessing 8-12" around here (SW Metro Det)

I would be surprised if we get 1/2 of what they are predicting, in typical fashion the news agencies ramp the drama up big time and usually when they predict a dump it doesn't happen, its usually comes when they don't predict it at all.

Daughter works at the Bloomfield Hills School system at the Wing Lake Development Center so we get texts from the Schools Admin Dept....They shut down all the schools for today and likely tomorrow.... She lives in our condo in Troy but no word if Troy Gov't will shut down...

Best,
Phil

Yeeeah that’s usually how it goes ? Sometimes though, this whole ramp up of “extreme weather” being a new norm makes my something loony click in the back of my head ? Everything is so whacky ?

Better safe than sorry! They’ve been doing all that “learnfromhome” hollabaloo for so long now anyways, no need to force an issue. Odd tho, I seem to remember that even back in MY so-called day, NOTHING closed before an impending storm. Certainly not school ?

Watching from over in New England seeing if you’re bringing us more on top of what we already have. Stay safe and do some donuts ?
Nothing too crazy yet, just a slow, consistent bit of wet snow here. I may eat some donuts today, but the trucks in the garage staying warm ???

It's Indiana, give it 5 minutes and the weather will change.

Went to the grocery to grab a few things and you'd think the world was ending due to some empty shelves and panic buyers.

On a side note, @AzScorpion I sprayed some Graphene 303 on the inside of my snowblower and chute, let's see if it helps with clogging with wet snow. I forgot to spray my front parking/collision sensors until after the rain came, so I dried them off with paper towels and applied the spray plus wiped the backup camera lens, maybe it will help with snow build up and false alarms.

That's a good idea Mike. I used to spray some silicone down my snowblower chute and it helped so hopefully this does too.

Well so far here in Warren area the temperature just dipped to 32*F and there might be an 1" of slush out there. and its barely snowing. It all depends where the cold/warm air division happens and right now we are just on the edge of cold air side looking at radar we are more than 1/2 way through the first front.
