Removing tailgate

Hey guys,

I had the bed pretty full with a couple golf bags, and when my friend tried to close the gate I guess some bags were sticking out a little, and the tailgate popped out on the bottom right side. We were able to guide it right back in and it seems just fine. Is this by design? Doesn't seem to be any issue and online I saw it’s meant to be this way. As always just want ranger5g to confirm! That's normal. It must of been at just the right angle so it popped out of place. Here's a video on removing and installing the tailgate so you can see how it works. at the 2:00 mark it shows you how to reinstall it.

Obviously they lack a tail gate damper for the added security to help it not fall off.
