Removing bedliner from threaded holes in bed

Hi all,

Trying to install a swing out tool box in my bed today and ran into an issue: The factory bedliner was applied over the threaded holes that I need to use.

I've tried gouging at them a little with a razor and damn this stuff is tough! Has anyone ran into this problem? How did you clean the threads out?

I used a tap and it worked perfectly.

The 3 bolts at the back are m6 x 1.00 and the 2 for the tie downs are m8x1.25

Just did this to mine not long ago for the swing case and @JKocot is spot on. The taps and sizes worked perfect. I also added some 3 in one on the taps.

Also use a razor, cut some of the bed liner off the top of the bolt and score around the tie down or the bed liner could peel away with the tie down.
