let us know how the install goes.
Will do. I think the biggest PIA will be running the wire inside through the firewall. I don't think theres any room on the drivers side area to work in.

Thank you. These will be my first project of the new year.

Were you able to get this installed? How'd it go? And do you have ACC? Wondering if you relocated it or if you just removed? I've got the RC bar in my garage. Trying to decide if it's worth the PITA to relocate the ACC as I don't ever use it.

There is plenty of room, you just need something like a coat hanger or other tool to grab the wire once you push it through from the cabin side into the engine bay, unless you have baby sized hands.

Good idea. Where do you recommend I run the wire from the inside from? What opening did you use?

Get a wire insertion tool local or on amazon and just use the same firewall grommet the rest of the wiring uses for the steering column area.

All a wire insertion tool is a hollowed out screw driver handle with a sharp stabby stabby on the other end.

I have the slim 6" RC lights but have not installed. These mount into the little slots in the bumper. Wired with a 30amp inline fuse while the biggest fuse in the aux fuse box is 25amp. (not impressed with how the aux fusebox mounts into the engine bay). The RC's have a full wiring harness with relay, fuse and switch which you really don't need with the accessory fuse box so figuring I'll just cut most of that off. Trying to find out if the lights with be ok with the 25amp fuse.
Ohms law is your friend.

According to RC the six inch bumper lights draw 36 watts total. And your truck is a 12V system.

I=P/V

Those lights should draw only 3amps per pair.

A 25 amp fuse is way too big.
