RC Light bar

Anyone install a RC light bar in the bumper of a Tremor and connect with one of the AUX switches?? Like the one in the pic.

Not a Rough Country bar, but yes I mounted a 20" RIgid light bar there, wired it up to switch 3 (10A). Super easy to wire up, works great.

Thanks to the upfitter switches, all you need are a positive wire and a negative wire, all of the relays, fuses, and switches can be cut right off of the wiring they give you.

I didn't use a full Light bar, since I have the adaptive cruise module in the middle. But before these lights I had 2 8" light bars.

The upfitter switches make it super easy to connect accessories, almost to the point where you feel its necessary to find something to use make use of switches. No fuses, relays, switches or pulling wire through firewall needed.

I have the adaptive cruise as well. Like the look of those 8” set ups. Who makes them?

Diode Dynamics also makes pairs with Ranger specific brackets that mount in that space on either side of the ACC.

I have the slim 6" RC lights but have not installed. These mount into the little slots in the bumper. Wired with a 30amp inline fuse while the biggest fuse in the aux fuse box is 25amp. (not impressed with how the aux fusebox mounts into the engine bay). The RC's have a full wiring harness with relay, fuse and switch which you really don't need with the accessory fuse box so figuring I'll just cut most of that off. Trying to find out if the lights with be ok with the 25amp fuse.

Funny you post this. I just ordered this. I am getting it today and will be installing this weekend. Mainly because I hate the big gap there.
