It sure looks like the seatbelt it attached to rubber, stretching and snapping!?!? WTF!!!

Should be steel buckles and brackets, or nylon strapping. NOT rubber!!!

All smart phones should be able to get it. Here's the link just in case you have an old flip phone. :)

LINK

I guess the F150's have the same issue.
Thanks for the link Mike. Now I can check it myself without losing an hour waiting on the dealers service dept. to get to it.

Yup...got mine Friday. Belts are good. Headrests...wait n see when they come in. Not in any hurry as I removed the rear seats and added the seat delete parts.
Hey Grumpaw, what "seat delete parts" did you get? Thank you

Seat delete parts consist of the back panel and the upper trim that goes just below the rear window. The panel has sound deadening/insulating material attached so it is just as quiet as with the seat backs installed.
A bit pricy, but check with the vendor on the site, Levittown for site pricing. I got it thru my dealer using some of my points.

Hench the recall.

No idea how that slipped past QC. I need to go test mine when I get my break this afternoon.

One for improperly attached seat belts on super cab trucks. They can separate fron their mounting points. They tell you and show in a video how to test them. Dealers are to provide loaner vehicles no charge (except gas & insurance) to customers. Parts are expected to be a available near the end of December.

The other one is fo the seat back and head rest on super cab rear seats hindering properly attaching taller infant seats.
Below referenced vide shows some idiot(s) @ plant did not attach the belt to the actual metal receiver, instead only to the plastic cover. Maybe too much hard drinking / doping the night before?

I got one a few days ago on my 2020 xcab. Said the passenger side seat belt. I only drive it on weekends, never have passenger. Local dealer set up an appointment for December 3rd to check it out.
the language is a little confusing--"front passenger outboard seatbelt" but it applies to both--driver and right-side occupants are both front passengers. Mine are both fine.
Sorry if someone else noted this already.
Be safe.

Common sense would/should dictate that you should give all the seat belts the test just to make sure. Front, back, check them all....who's to say that another belt wasn't screwed up by another "Friday Evening" worker.

It's a bit ambiguous, but the seatbelt needs to be threaded through a hunk of metal. On mine, it's obvious the belt wraps through a hunk of metal... I can pull the plastic/rubber away from the belt and see the metal. I don't know why, but it appears someone threaded the belt through just the plastic/rubber cover of the belt structure without going through the metal.

So, yeah, don't know why someone would do that, but, it happened.

It reminded me of a time years ago where I worked in a cleanroom. We had a cleaning crew come through in full clean suits. And, they were using feather dusters.

Yeah.... who'd of thunk?
