Received two Recalls on My 2021 Ranger

[Muscleford]

One for improperly attached seat belts on super cab trucks. They can separate fron their mounting points. They tell you and show in a video how to test them. Dealers are to provide loaner vehicles no charge (except gas & insurance) to customers. Parts are expected to be a available near the end of December.

The other one is fo the seat back and head rest on super cab rear seats hindering properly attaching taller infant seats.

Yup...got mine Friday. Belts are good. Headrests...wait n see when they come in. Not in any hurry as I removed the rear seats and added the seat delete parts.

I got one a few days ago on my 2020 xcab. Said the passenger side seat belt. I only drive it on weekends, never have passenger. Local dealer set up an appointment for December 3rd to check it out.

Tested my belts, they are fine. Don't care about child seats.

I have the rest seat delete, so no worries about the other recall.

I wonder if I could convince the dealership to do the ABS brake bleed while it's there.

Mine passed too, the letter says it still needs to go in to them though.

Received my recall letter and the belt checks out fine. The dealer can check it when I use my points for an oil change.

Did you check both Driver and Passenger seat belts as the recall stated? I guess they just want to be sure.
