Tesla utilizes a modern Central Computing architecture where almost everyone else uses older multi-module systems requiring more chips. Its not all roses and rainbows at Tesla though for sure. We'll see the same thing with them shortly. They stopped production on the previous version early to save parts but those will soon dry up. Interesting article I read yesterday on how Tesla is the only automaker who has been able to pivot during this, largely because they're new enough that they weren't using the old chips the other makers are begging for. As a result, Tesla's use of modern chips, coupled with a more active/involved software engineering department gave them the ability to use firmware updates so that they can use various chips - ie, whatever they can get their hands on. Neighbor ordered a 2022 Tacoma as soon as the books opened; he's already getting Ford-like run around on delivery. I have a feeling 2022 will be much worse than 2021.
I'd be interested in the valance & black tow hooks, shipped to 35802?I’ve updated the original post to show what’s available.
Again - just need to get rid of this stuff so willing to sell for very very cheap.
what’s left:
front bumper valence / black tow hooks (together or individual, I bought because 4x2 non fx2 doesn’t have hooks anymore)
DM me if anyone wants anything left ?
No problem. I have a '21 and found the thread about making the hooks work on the 21 valance, so no need for the valance part #, but thanks!Sold the valence but I have the tow hooks I can sell you for cheap.
man’s I’ll give you the parts number for the valence if you want it
