Washing the truck the other day I noticed significant build up on the rockers behind the front tires. Do you think mud flaps have any noticeable effect on gas mileage? Do nerf bars get in the way of mud flaps? Are the no-drill styles good?

I have the RokBlokz XLs. They aren't going to have a measurable impact on gas mileage, the install was easy and reasonably secure. I've popped them on rocks and have gone across creeks at faster than advisable speeds with them on. They're still on there.

Edit: I also have rock sliders and they don't interfere with those either.

I put the WeatherTech no drill flaps on the front of my Ranger. They do the job, but they are a bit of a bitch to install on the Ranger because of the inner wheel liner. But, it's doable if you have any mechanical ability at all.

BTW, they do not interfer with the gas mileage one bit.

After alot of reading on this forum I ordered rokblokz xl's, should be here Friday. Can't see them interfering with any need bars, they shouldnt go past the inner fender line

I went with Ford using pass points. Had to drill, but only in plastic. I think they're fine.

Are they no drill? How was the install as for difficulty? Can you post a pic? Thanks!

The install is pretty straight forward. About an hour for all four. No drilling. Hardware included is pretty good. I painted the exposed stainless-stew screw heads black.

Thanks for the great pics. Looks like tire removal is necessary, is that right?

No tire removal necessary. There is some working while laying on your back and the need for a 90-degree bit/driver attachment.
