Walking clear up to a door is too much exercise . . .
Ahhhh, but - - - unlike everyone else, it does have touch sensors on the back doors. You only have to walk half-way to the front.

Are you sure the doors are actually locking? Or is it just the horn honking? The horn will honk to tell you that the key has left the vehicle while it is running.
Yes they do lock when you get out of the truck and it's still running. We have those community mail boxes here at the end of the street and every day when I come home I get out to get the mail(trucks still running) and that annoying double honk goes off and the doors are locked when I go to get back inside.

The app can be "glitchy" at times and you're also going to get more lag time if you're using cellular rather than wifi. I do't use the app all that often but the times I have it's worked flawlessly but it does take longer to connect and start the truck from the app. When I'm leaving in the mornings and hit the fob from my kitchen it starts immediately after I hit the 2x button the second time.:)
Yes, I have used FordPass 2 program ranger 2 start @ a set time. When I us it from home, I have had no problems but when I have used it @ work, a few times, I did get a message that the auto start had failed & when I got 2 ranger, sure enough it wasn't running. @ home I'm connected 2 wifi & @ work I'm connecting thru cell so I'm guessing failed start is caused by bad cell signal which is the case from our office @ work. I am figuring the start memory is held in your phone until time of start & then the signal goes out from ur phone & if @ that time u have a bad signal, u end up with a failed start. Not sure but just my guess? Other then that, I love FordPass & being able 2 set a time 4 my ranger 2 start. Have that old syndrome also. Hahaha!

Yes. I'm sure. The key stays in my pocket. I've never left it in vehicle. This was confirmed when it was raining one day and I got out to run in the house and was stuck in the rain for a few extra seconds because it didn't pick up on my key and I had to unlock using the fob.

Cheers,
Coby
