It would be really great for us daily driving, non-gear heads to have an clear, equitable comparison between the leveling options.

Get rid of the rake. Check! Get bigger tires. Check!
But...

Is a 2" lift enough?
Does a two-part (top and bottom) spacer assembly mitigate angles and have less detrimental affect on the suspension and CV shaft? (BDS 2"; Ready-Lift 2")
Does the two-piece assembly limit tire sizes?
Will mounting only a taller top spacer overextend the suspension or overstress the CV shaft assembly (ProComp 2.25", RC 2.5", R-L 3")?
The BDS 2" has a top spacer and preload bottom spacer, but the Ready-Lift 3" combines a top spacer with a preload into one piece? How's that work?

2" or 3"? One piece or two? Steel or aluminum? Is one company better than the other? Does any of it actually make a functional difference?

BDS 2"
Leveling Kit: Two-piece design: top mount spacer above, preload spacer below. With rear replacement shocks. ~$138
"...this 2" leveling kit is engineered...without overextending the suspension or driveline angles at full suspension droop...The issue with most other kits is they increase the overall length of the strut assembly maxing out ball joints and causing the CV shaft/boot to operate at an extreme angle leading to premature wear/failure of the components."

*****************************
Ready-Lift 2"
Leveling kit: two top and two lower strut extension spacers. ~$195
"...features our time-tested top/bottom strut mount spacers. Requires no cutting or modifications."

*****************************
Pro Comp 2.25"
Leveling Kit: Top mount strut spacers with replacement crash bars. ~$280
"...thick steel leveling spacers and overlap crash bars lifts the front of your truck 2-1/4" for extra clearance with a factory ride quality experience."

Rough Country 2.5"
Leveling Kit: Top mount strut spacer. ~$100
"Each kit features a set of front strut spacers, laser cut for a precise fit and powder coated black.... Includes a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee!"

*****************************
Ready-Lift 3"
Leveling Kit: Top hat replacement technology. ~$210
"This kit...combines a top mount leveling kit with a spring preload spacer in one single component."

If anyone decides to order the Fabtech lift but doesn't want the rear blocks, I'd love to buy them separately. I'm going with Icon Stage two but would like to lift the rear a tad to maintain some rake.

For comparison here is the RC 2.5” level with 265/70/17 tires next to a stock height F150.

Can you send a side view of your truck? I've been contemplating 265/70 R17. that is giving you about an inch more dia over the stock 265/65 yes?

I just ordered the Rough Country leveling kit and I was about to pull the trigger on 275/70 18s but luckily I read this thread first haha. I wonder if anyone makes wheel spacers for this bolt pattern that would bring them out an inch or so.
Bora spacers from Motorsport tech. Machined billet aluminum approx $250.

This is another case, just like the BDS kit (I think it was BDS), where I would like to order the modified crash bars alone without the kit. I guess I'll drop them an email and see if they will be selling the crash bars separate.

Well I guess I should have checked the site before posting this. It looks like they do offer the crash bars separately. Good on you Fabtech for selling these separate! https://fabtechmotorsports.com/product/offset-intrusion-beam-kit-fts22296/

Not if they save your legs/feet in the event of an accident!
This is a very good point. We all spend a lot of money on neat toys for our Rangers so, while it might be a little steep in price, it is better than the alternative.

I'm not knocking the functionality of the part, just saying they sure are marking it up. I'll keep my stock crash bars with 33's.
