Yup, you asked for opinions, BUT, you have to go with what makes YOU happy...with the look that everytime you look back at your truck, you think, "yeah I really like that" !!!
Try going to Discount Tire or Tire Rack web sites, and you will be able to scroll thru their wheels and see how they look on your truck. Enter your truck info and you'll see a note "see these wheels on your truck" and follow it.

Yeah I knew this can of worms I could be potentially opening when I created this post!
I was ready to pull the trigger on some magnetics last year and changed my mind. As I have blacked out anything not white or magnetic on my truck I started waffling again! Add to that someone local has a set of brand new black takeoffs and here I go again!
Like I said at the start I may not listen to you all, but I am interested to see the results.

All the feedback (even when breaking the rules ?) is GREATLY appreciated and interesting.
And at the same time we can have a little fun - Stinkin Rules!

And yes - I am a firm believer in your truck only your opinion matters.

If you go with factory black on a white truck the look will be awkward unless you engage in some additional styling mods - which seems perhaps counter to your intentions?

So I voted for magnetic. If you still want to tweak the appearance - muffler tips, lettering - I think you'll be able to soften the harsh contrasts.

Although the Stormtrooper styling suggestion was pretty funny.

Yup already have a black muffler tip and black Ranger letters
And yeah - the Stormtrooper look was my hesitation on Black Wheels.

The other thing about the Blask wheels is they are more 2D in shape, almost flat.

I voted Magnetic, too. I have the silver XLT wheels on mine, but if I see a good deal on magnetic takeoffs pop up locally, I might have to try to get them.

Not a white Ranger, but I have the Magnetic's on my Ingot Silver , really like them and can see no reason to swap em for anything else.

Magnetics on one side, machined magnetics on the other.

You think I'm kidding but I knew a guy who had the same wheel but black on the passenger side and chrome on the driver side. Pretty creative and threw people for a loop!

Edit: I saw the black appearance rims in person and didn't care for them. Not against black rims but the design was too flush with the tire almost like a dinner plate.

Never been a fan of bronze wheels on anything but blue vehicles.

When I think bronze I think rally blue like the WRX or something.

Grey is more reflective, modern, lower contrast and less pop

Agree - I already had a direction I am leaning. I was bored and thought the survey would be interesting. It is! and entertaining! it is!

Well this was interesting. Magnetics coming in at the top spot is not surprising. But the close call between the machined wheels and Blacks is surprising to me.
SO my decision
Machined Wheels - I have them now, so FREE
Magnetics - Best looking with the sport pkg trim i have and my choice at the start.
Blacks. - Too shiny and too flat

Now to find some Magnetics at a good price and less than 3 hrs away!

Free is good, I ran into the same thoughts as you as I have the machined wheels as well and really wanted the magnetics. The magnetics look great, imo the best OEM wheel. However, we have the 2nd best and it is free. If I was going to upgrade my wheels, for me I would go the full way and get some nice looking new aftermarket ones. Since it would be $300-500 for the magnetics and like $600-1k for the new aftermarket ones. Just something to consider, save a little or wait till Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/LoveMyself/BreakTheWallet day and buy yourself a present

edit: don’t forget your machined wheels will go for $400-600. Really cuts the cost of aftermarket or get a couple hundred after buying magnetics from someone at a good price
