that has to be some sort of excuse. what is so special about your steering wheel that is different from everyone else's truck being built?

It seems VERY odd to me too. If they were short on steering wheels, how could they be manufacturing ANY trucks? It seems like Ford has a never ending supply of excuses as to why trucks are not moving.

This morning it I went back to "Awaiting Shipment"

There was definitely a steering wheel shortage for mustangs, but I haven't seen any talk of a steering wheel shortage for rangers. Probably another attack of cluelessness.

I've finally gone from N/A delivery to April 9. Not as good as previous estimates of April 7 or March 31, but I'll take it.

I just checked with my dealer. Truck still shows it will be delivered on 3/28 but it’s not on a train yet... Shows in production since 3/13 with no change.

Why did ford go into overtime to build more rangers to just sit in a lot covered in snow. Anybody in Detroit area a pilot that can take a pic of all of the rangers "awaiting". Hello ford we are not "awaiting" we are impatiently waiting. How many $40,000 2 ton trucks are sitting lost in Wane MI. I am not happy awaiting or pending. You added an extra $100 to the Destination charges this year, I think that you should give it back for all of the "AWAITING" we have to do.

One thing I've learned is don't get too excited when it goes "in transit" because they might get to the rail yard, but they sit there a long time waiting on a train, at least mine has. Hopefully you'll have better luck.

A little rant... I apologize for those waiting longer.

Delivery date got moved to 4/4 from 3/29 (6 days not much, except when you're excited to get your truck). It was shipped via rail on 3/19 and arrived on 3/23 (4 days) at a rail yard 25 miles from my house and it now it will take 12 days to go the last 25 miles via truck to the dealer? I hope they are erring on the side of caution and it gets here sooner!

I'm going to the dealership now to find out why my truck is in the Bermuda triangle of this ordering process was produced 3/16 but remains in production no awaiting shipping and their answer is idk 3 months waiting and im paying cash gave them 5k down hoping it'd help get it faster.

Mine is showing built and awaiting shipment with a 4-4-19 delivery projection. VIN is 1FTER4FH7KLA24605. Ordered December 7th with a 3-15 build and was scheduled for delivery on 3-31-19 then changed to 4-7 but has now changed to 4-3. XLT Magnetic Grey with the chrome package and 302 package. I have owned over 20 plus Fords and look forward to getting this new line of Rangers. Hopefully next week.
