Hello from Sunny Florida. First time Ford owner and I traded a 2017 tacoma for it. Hopefully it was a good decision as my Tacoma was at 64000 miles and wasn't very exciting to drive nor was it 4wd.
Up 1st is the new Line X spray in liner (the dealership added it for no extra charge but will be removing the plastic bed liner. They are also adding middle tie downs that it should have had to begin with). After that front window tinting and a new tonneau cover. The Tacoma had a Truxedo Sentry Cover and it was nice but I think I want a flipping one this time. Had a Bak flip in the past and the quality was terrible. Did I mention this is also my 1st Ford ever.

Welcome Stan. I am digging those OEM vinyl stripes. Looks really nice. Careful spending too much time on these forums. It will only make you love your Ranger more and make your wallet hate you more. :giggle: Perhaps, a tune is something you might be interested in if you speak of excitement.. lots of threads concerning which one to choose, personally I like FP tune, draws safe power and covered by Ford warranty.

Thanks everyone. Just hope I don't overdue it this time with accessories. Now to figure out what Tonneau cover works best and easily gets out of the way if I want to pick up something big.

Look at the Truxedo Lo Pro tonneau cover. It's a soft cover and you can roll it all the way back and then there are 2 clips underneath. You just push them to the side and the whole cover comes out easily. I had this one on my Tacoma and it's really nice and very good quality.

Just hope I don't overdue it this time with accessories.
Better run now, this site is toxic....you've been warned! ? :curse:

Welcome to the Ranger family! Pretty sure the Tacoma will be a distant memory in about a week. Someday not long from now you’re going to be itching to wind her up. That’s when the real grin starts. Just break it in nice before you set the rings ☺

Welcome. I have the Gator SFX soft cover and I bought it because it didn't require rails and can be removed quickly and easily if I wanted to use the whole bed. They have a pro version now that appears to have nicer clamps. The only issue with the SFX, which isn't a real issue, is the spring loaded clamps hang down and if you want a swing tool box it hits the clamp. Search my post history and you will find it's not an issue except you have to swing the box out to secure the clamp. No big deal to me.

Also, it's soft, so it can be cut open, but that wasn't my concern. If you want it to secure your load then you want a hard cover.

Congrats! Mine was due to be built early July. Hoping to have it soon.
Have you looked into the BAK Revolver X4S? Seems to get a little better rating than the Sentry.
When rolled up, takes up as much space as a folding cover yet doesn’t block the window. Still removable if you really need to. Low profile and looks more like a fabric tonneau cover are both pros in my books. That is the one I will be going with.
