Trying to decide which to do first, tune with the ford tune or get the dual exhaust out the back. Dont have a specific goal of anything. Like both ...opinions...

Depends what youre looking to gain but I would say the tune.

I got an exhaust first only because the deal I got on it was never going to come around again, otherwise I was set on a tune.
You get the tune yet?

I have both the Ford tune and the Ford performance exhaust. IMO, get the tune.

I agree with the others and get the tune first. You can then see the gains and judge if you really want to spend the money on the exhaust. I know you're looking at the Ford tune but one thing to keep in mind is it requires premium only. With the Livernois tune you can go to the 87-89 tune and save some money at the pump while still having performance. It's nice to have with gas going crazy right now.

I was looking at the Gibson dual exhaust...eventually. Costco helps keep gas modest, hopefully Grandpa Joe doesnt make this worse.

Did you tune it or dis you have the dealership
I had the tune installed by the dealer, wanted to have the paper trail for warranty. However, I did install the recent tow friendly update to that tune on my own.

Will probably go Ford and have them install to keep it legit.
For the money you spend on a tune, I would go with one that gives the most return for the money.

Livernois is an established company with great reputation and awesome service.

More power than Ford. Plus you get like 4 tunes. All for what 400 bucks.

Plus you get the device that can read codes, change tire size, etc.

Exhaust on a stock vehicle is mostly a waste of money. Might sound better, but you aint getting noticeable power gains on a cat back exhaust. And dual exhaust on a 4 banger? Hehe.

Ball park figure cost??
Don’t remember the costs off the top of my head, would need to dig out the receipts. Bought the Ford tune from Levittown, current price is better than what I paid, hit up Benny for a code. Used points toward the dealer install of the tune.
