I put the MBRP dual exhaust with chrome tips on last Friday. I think and my wife thinks it looks and sounds great. It seems a little louder after putting some miles on it.

I just noticed from the OP first pic - looks like it fits around the trailer hitch as well.

i was just kinda looking at my setup today, and remembered I have the factory trailer hitch (and although I don’t have anything to tow), and was wondering if it fits with a hitch.

good deal

How loud is it inside the truck? I had a Gibson on my old Sport Trac and it was really friggen’ loud. I saw a sound clip on YouTube and the MBRP didn’t seem as loud.

I had to hold the phone about 5 inches from the exhaust for it to pick up the sound, even though I can hear it from wherever. When driving you can hear the exhaust but my phone won't pick it up.

I like the look of the dual exhaust, coming out the back on separate sides.

I would probably do that if I could maintain the OEM exhaust note. Glad you are happy with yours! Best of luck.

I’ve never been fond of dual exit exhausts on trucks, unless they had the cut-outs like the Rams.

I actually like how this looks very much. Gives the truck an even more Baby-Raptor feel.

I'm not a mechanic but i'm excited to have just installed this dual exhaust. A couple of years ago I installed a Cobb exhaust on my fiesta st and this one was a little more challenging. I just used some rhino ramps to prop up the back tires and crawled underneath, plenty of room to move around. I think unit is of good quality. I did have some trouble while trying to reinstall the passenger side tail pipe isolator to the frame, it was a little difficult to get the positioning just right. Then one of the 2.5" clamps didn't get tight enough to secure the tailpipe to the y-pipe. So I had to disassemble and try that clamp on the tailpipe on the other side and that worked a little better but took longer than expected.

I drove it around the block a couple of times, then went back under to re-tighten the clamps and get the positioning just right. In the pictures you'll see I have the tips sticking out just a little bit. I'll probably push those in a little to look more subtle. What do you guys think?

The sound is pleasant, start-up is not to loud, don't want to wake my neighbors. No drone when cruising. Overall pretty mild but definitely louder than stock. The stock lariat cabin noise is comparable to a prius in my opinion, plus the pumped in noise from the speakers.

This is my daily driver. I'll probably never take it off road. I chose the dual exhaust because I like the way it looks and this MBRP does not have an aggressive tone.

Please post a sound clip. This will be my next and last mod. Said no Ranger owner ever...

I'm running with the Dual 3" Cat Back Stainless Steel System and love it.
