yes, it just has salty crap on it, it cleans up to a nice matte black.

i think the 14" is a bigger outlet diameter.. this is a 3" inlet, 4" outlet.. i wouldn't want much bigger than that. Some people paint the pipe with high temp matte black paint from the muffler back to conceal the look of it being a tip, i may do that in the spring.
Calvin, according to the AutoAnything web site, they the 3" inlet, 4" outlet available in 14"...
Thanks.

give it a shot then!
I just measured the tailpipe and I can get the 14" tip to slide 12" forward on the tailpipe before it starts to bend. This means that I will have 3/4" of the end of the tip extending outside of the body of the Truck which brings the tip out about even with the outside of the rear tire.

How far is your tip extended out from the outside of your Truck body? Are there any preferences about how far a tip should extend out relating to exhaust fumes, scraping an object with the tip, cosmetics, etc?

The tab has started growing and I won't have the truck (my first) until, at the earliest, mid/late April. I sure hope no later. Anyway here are the planned changes/additions.

LineX bed liner
Tail gate damper (I've read that's a sensitive topic around here)
LED front turns, puddles and probably any other non-LED's. Not sure yet what all this encompasses.
Auto mirror. Already signed up for @RCMUSTANG's next group buy
FORScan and associated adapter
Hard flip Tonneau Cover
All weather mats. Not sure on brand yet.

Lurking around here is rough on the wallet!

So I'm at:
Brake controller (Teknosha Prodigy P3) 120$
Weathertech's (I think they were 199 or 299)
Tonneau cover Gator something or other (200$) cheap, and not showing any signs of wear after almost 2 years.
Fox coilovers and rear shocks 1200$ (Still have to put them on)
sumo springs $180 (still have to put them on, going to wait until I let the Fox shocks settle and towing season begins.)
RedTek Window module 90$ (Group Buy)
and various other little things I can't account for (<=400$ in nonsense) (like the ignition ring, hitches, etc)

Calvin,
I just got mine yesterday, 3" inlet, 4" outlet, 10" length (GRT3410B) the same as yours. My clamp is black but your looks white or did you coat it with something? Maybe I have a different version of the same model?

Also, I will be following this link to see if any continuing problems with paint finish coming off. I might wait for awhile and monitor this issue before installing mine.

Go Rhino is sending a replacement out, this is what they said:

"This normally happens when the exhaust tip is used as an extender which is not what our tip is designed for. I can not tell if this is the case here because of the photo but I think this is the issue. The tip should slide as far as possible on the exhaust tip.The end of the pipe should be near the opening of the tip. We can send out a replacement all we need you to do is click on the invoice and send us a screen shot of that."

Glad to hear this. When I called Go Rhino directly before buying the Tip, tech support told me to install it this same way as you described with the tailpipe end flush with the outside of the Exhaust Tip and not extended out beyond that. But he did not explain why to do it as such. I was going to use mine as an extender but will instead install it according to their specs. Great to hear that they will back up the product. Did you buy directly from Go Rhino? I got mine from AutoAnytime.

i wonder how the finish is applied, i just did a quick search on powder coating, it says is good up to around 400 deg, then i saw something about "can you powder coat an exhaust" that said No, that can get up to 1200 deg, i assume thats not at the tail pipe. but if they are powder coating this tip, thats not the way to go. i may take the old one and use some high temp matte black paint on it to see if that would be better. since i will have spare anyway.

I will let you know if any paint problems come up with mine. And If so, will check with you to see if the black matte paint that you might try solved the issue.
