If someone who has a Ranger with factory fog lights would be so kind to maybe crawl under the front end,and hood area to follow the factory harness for the fog lights.
‘I’m trying to see where it runs to from the lights to the main plug in.

It won’t matter whether you have par assist or not, since it looks as if the main connection point is the same with or without.

All the wiring diagrams I’ve seen do not show the actual vehicle connection location, and I’m trying to see where this connection is made.

Here’s a picture of the harness end I’m looking for,any pictures etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Drivers side, right below the headlight. I circled the plug and I also circled the crash bar sleeve (crash bars are gone) so you can get a relative idea.

I believe this is it in this photo I happened to take when I was replacing my headlights.

That looks right,thank you.

on a quick look since I have an aftermarket bumper,I do not see that connector end laying about.
So either it’s tucked away up in there,or I do not have one, meaning Ford uses a different harness to that point on XL’s that don’t come spec’ed for fog/park assist/active cruise.

Perhaps this weekend I can dig further, maybe even pull the headlight if need be(done it before with the Lariat headlight swap),and see if it is indeed tucked away.

If it’s not there, may have to see what other harness part I may or may not be able to swap/add.

Thank you both again for taking the time to post the pictures for me!

Hi Gary,

That connector if you have it is a PITA to reach unless you dismantle the front end. I had problems with forward parking sensors. I finally got one hand up the and pushed until I heard a click...from the assembly plant, not properly installed. No problems since, but you will likely pull your hand/arm out with scrapes and some blood....Sheehs!

LOL,Phil thank you for the heads up for sure!

My hands and arm to a small degree look like I was in a cat fight already from wiring up 3 sets of lights over the weekend lol

But being a mechanic on something or another my whole life,it’s nothing new. Some are just glutens for abuse.

‘’All the best Phil!
