I installed my AWE exhaust with all 4 wheels on the ground.
Very easy, took about an hour.

A little bit of dish soap on the rubber helps to pull the hangers out.

Thanks for the tip Brian!

Thanks for the tip Brian!
No problem, I am very happy with the sound and looks.
The hardest part was getting the clamps to squeeze the Crome tips (the metal is thick),
You will need 1/2 in ratchet or air wrench. Or at least I did.

We use Tri Flow or similar in the shop here. A little lube goes a long way!

The Gibson Black Elite Single is on the way, should be here Saturday. Hopefully the Turbosmart BOV shows up about the same time. Can't wait to hear a different sound from my Ranger besides that 4 cyl whine. My Livernois tuner should be coming soon, they are waiting on the next batch of Mytouch tuners to get finished up. So glad they are making those in the USA! Only the screen comes from overseas. Looking forward to being a part of the Livernois family!

I have the Livernois tune and I think you will be impressed. I ordered the AWE exhaust and thought about installing it myself, however the weather turned and now it's fricking cold out, so I am taking into a shop tomorrow and having them do it. I was in my garage last night installing new RokBlokz mud flaps and froze my butt off!!!

The main reason I went with the Gibson exhaust was flow for power and no drone in the cab. I wasn’t sure about a lot of other systems out there based on people talking about that drone sound at highway speeds. That AWE rumble video was persuasive though. I like that aFe Rebel exhaust also, it’s really short and I love the exit point In front of the rear wheel. Problem is I have running boards that I believe would be in the way.
I will be installing a dual port bov about the same time as the exhaust. Interested in how that will sound together.
I‘ve got the raptor grille on now, I need to post some pics...it looks good with the vinyl wrap.

Does the Gibson go all the way to the downpipe, or does it not replace the midpipe? I have a Gibson Catback exhaust on my Mustang and love the sound.

The kit for the Ranger does not replace the midpipe.

I'm in the same boat. I have the exhaust in my living room, and the weather sucks. Would you mind telling how much a shop is charging to do the installation?

Local shop charged me $94 +tax and shop supplies. $103.60 total. Took them just over an hour. Don't like the angle that they installed the tips, but I can adjust these myself.
