a ranger is not a mustang. there is more wind resistance and weight in the truck unless you drop it and chop it

I had no idea I wasn’t driving a mustang.
If the tailgate opens from the top, it's a Mustang, if from the bottom, it's a Ranger. Check next time you go out to the vehicle just to be sure.

I'd mind you that the Ecoboost mustang guys call them ecobooms for a reason. I plan to do full bolts (CAI, TurboBack, Tune, Intercooler\Charge Pipes, BPV) and i've ordered most of that . But I dont think i'd do much more simply because its a truck at the end of the day.

Im curious about the High pressure fuel pump, what are the advantages and do you need to tune for it? Seems pricey.

I’m full bolts on right now. I have every upgrade available, minus the upgraded turbo. That’ll come after I completely max out the stock system.

fuel pump is 1600 and takes about a month to be made. Company said mine is still 3 weeks out from being made and I paid over a week ago. Yes you’ll need to tune for it. Advantage is being able to run e85.

That's super nifty, It sounds like you're probably at the top of the game with bolts for the Ranger, I think because the platform is more limited in number, that we will need to look at the other 2.3 platforms for things we can piggyback onto and install from the Focus or Mustang, I was really hoping Cobb was going to come to the table with parts, but it seems like alot of the initial steam to build on this platform has slowed. (Just this guys opinion)

Which one did you go with? If I remember correctly there was 2 sizes, but that was for my taurus sho I had. I wanted to do full e85 with the %60 over xdi pump (so I had some room to grow) but 2500 was a lot and then I got T-boned in it.

The the pump made for the explorer st. I’m not sure if a different pig tail is needed or not but I’ll find out soon enough.
