Rangers in SNOW

Anyone had a chance to take their new 2019 Ranger out in the snow yet?
in SE Lower Michigan we just got our firs real snow of the year. about 7" in my area.

I test drove one today in the snow. Not for too long but I was very impressed by how quick the truck corrected itself when the rear end started to come out around a corner.

We are finally getting a some good snow here in SW Ontario, but we are away with my wife's rouge right now. Its really about tires in the snow, dealer said he thought the hankooks were just ok in the snow. Looks like its gonna stay for a bit, so I'll let you know .

We've been getting hit pretty good in the snow belt East of Cleveland on Lake Erie. Got about 1,400 miles on the new Ranger and it's a tank in the snow. Great truck.

Took it from Cleveland, OH to Lake Chautauqua in NY the first weekend and got 22.2 MPG. Mostly freeway, but we putzed around the lake quite a bit too. I plan on dragging my Street Glide around with it on vacations, so I'm pretty happy with the MPG. Great powertrain too.

Getting pretty heavy lake effect here now, drive to work looked like Rigwrights middle pic. with lots of blowing snow a few good drifts. Id say it does just fine in the snow, these are certainly not the tires Id choose, but even with that its fine, a good set would just make it that much better.

At just over 1,400 miles I'm averaging 20.9 MPG. That's playing in the the snow, 4WD, snowstorms, city & highway combined.
Not bad. Love the truck.

I would say that is really good. My experience is that pretty much ANY 4WD driving kills MPG.

I would be really happy with that.
