Make sure you use a lot of soapy water in a spray bottle so you can slide the vinyl letters around. I also used a q-tip to move them around into place and then once they set up you can use the q-tip to push the excess water out.
So I followed the directions and did 7 drops or so of dish soap in a spray bottle with 10 oz of water I shook it up, but it doesn't really spray out soapy? is that normal?
Yes that's normal. You don't want a bunch of suds, just enough soap to make it slide around. If it starts drying just spray more water on them. The E was the biggest PITA as it folds over like a wet noodle and starts to stick together. Patience and a lot of water.
Ok! I was going to have my detail guy do it when it goes in for ceramic coating, but I figured I'll give it ago! if I screw it up, its pretty cheap to replace!
They do give you a couple extra letters so start with those in case you mess up. When I did mine it was August and hot so I had a hard time keeping mine from drying out. After all that I took them off and replaced them with the thicker ABS plastic ones. The dash ones are the hardest as they're so small but the tailgate ones are a lot easier. Good luck!
