I noticed that my right information display doesn't show the artist and song when I have it set to display my Sirius setting (the red menu... Entertainment I think it is?) It only shows the Sirius channel number and the Sirius channel name.

On my 2013 Explorer, this same selection displays the Sirius channel number, channel name, artist, and song.

Minor annoyance, because it's nice to have the song, and artist there, especially if you're using Android Auto and have something like google maps taking up your main screen.

Not sure if this is unique to the 2019 Ranger or it's that way now with all newer vehicles. Strange that they'd take away this functionality. Hopefully they'll go back to displaying this info in a future update.

Same here, Ive found I tend to leave that screen on Nav for some reason.
Something else that's missing, or at least not working in that section is the ability to change tracks when listening to music (either bluetooth or MP3's). Based on prior experience with my former 2012 Edge and my 2014 Explorer, the up and down arrows should allow you to change to the next song. This works for radio stations, but not any of the music that I've listened to. Noticed that there was a Sync update, so I installed that today, but it didn't make any difference.

I find that the right hand display is mostly useless. I wish it could simply display the same stuff as the left hand screen. Phone panel is completely useless, nav doesn't work with Android auto active, and audio doesn't work at all with some sources and at best for some reason only shows part of two lines of text on the whole screen. Much more useful if you could show off road and instrument screen (or whatever) at the same time.

Agreed. I forgot to mention another thing that I think is missing from that. With my 2012 Edge, I could control the AC/Heater from the steering wheel. It's not on our Explorer, and I really miss that.

On other threads, Some have did the code change thing using ForeScan tool, and made the right hand display more useful. I, for one have zero desire to do this. I just mostly ignore the right hand display. So many other things to pay attention to on the left display. hopefully, there will be a fix for the right display later on... Anyway. Sure am getting lots of looks from all the F150 drivers, as I smile and say to myself, that's right buddy...it IS the new Ranger and don't she look fine! :)

Would be nice if we could figure out how to add track information from Sirius to the right IPC display.

I agree. everything it's capable of showing I just look at the center consol screen. it shows more info anyways. nav, radio. it's a pointless screen. i'd rather have some analog gauges there instead. tach, boost, oil, battery? anything but what's there now would be an improvement.

I have the same problem with the right hand display on my 2019 Ranger Lariat 4x4. I have a 2018 Explorer Sport and it displays the Siriusxm channel, song title and artist. Would very much like my Ranger to do this also because if you use Google Maps or Wazes for navigation there is no way to see this info.

Just bought a 19 Ranger Lariat yesterday, and I did have the Sirius station name Channel artist and song name in the right dash display, then today it was gone. Have no idea how. Or how to get it back

I wish someone would figure out how to make the display the artist and song title. My 2018 Explorer has the same display and it shows the artist and song title. Does anyone know if this can be turned on with Forscan?

No, it's a SYNC issue.

You don't. You can only hope when Ford does their next update they put it back.
