Before you remove top speed limiter

Wouldn’t a driveshaft loop be a very smart add before adding horsepower and removing top speed limits? A dropped driveshaft can destroy a vehicle. Anyone? Thoughts?

I would be more worried about a low rated tire shredding it tread at high speed before the drive shaft.
Yes I lost the tread from a tire going over the rated speed. If there would have been a turn involved I probably would not been here now.
It was very violent and left me with what looked like a doughnut with steel belts.

Another back story....

When I was racing, I had some issues that I wanted to do a Sunday morning pre race emergency practice. The Stewards decided to combine us open wheel drivers with closed wheel (eg sedans). Since this was a short 10 minute practice, I was not thrilled but what the hey.... so off we went out onto the racetrack. I got in a solid lap to indicate the misfire in the motor was resolved, but on the second lap I came up on a production Lotus as we round the first turn at Mid Ohil Sports Course at a good speed. The lotus failed the front u joint and the driveshaft pole vaulted his rear end up in the air. I swerved by thowing the Supervee to driver's left and barely missed him slamming down behind me. Whew.! he did not have a driveshaft loop as required. Lucky I did not suffer any damage due to this failure of the technical inspectors that missed this requirement for a driveshaft loop. If you plan to go beyond the driveline's critical speed. You need a driveshaft loop... JMO!

Before I tune, I will add the loop. Its common sense and a very nice safety feature. Ive owned more cars than I can remember, and one thing that I can say is that my cars were pristine after years of ownership. Even when someone was faster than me for a while, they always ended up shredding their vehicles due to poor planning.

Build your rig to last. Doing it right will pay off!

I’m a complete noob. Is there installation instructions for the driveshaft loop or a simple list I can follow from one of y’all? Any bolts/screws/washers/nuts I need to buy? Sorry for the dumb questions. Still learning here.
