5% tint all around! What you all think?

Looks really good with the white. You're lucky you're LE because I know MA cops would be pulling you over every chance they get. When I lived there I got harassed for tint that was just over the limit never mind 5%. Then you have to deal with the state inspections but I'm sure you have that covered. lol ;)

Hey Bud, thank you! And I am sorry you had a hard time out here. I know some cops that are really hardcore towards tint and Some that doesn’t really care. Tint does not bother me as long as I don’t see them driving stupid. But I don’t usually use the illegal tint as a reason to pull someone over! Be safe out there.

I was out in Western MA and in some of those smaller towns the cops were just bored and looking for any reason to pull you over. I never once had a problem in the city because they had more important stuff to do. I had a white F 150 and that truck looked really good (like yours) with the dark tint and a few black accents.

Out here in AZ they could care less how dark your tint is. I just find it harder at night to see when it's to dark and usually have to roll my window down.

Yeah I hear you, I am in western MA Sturbridge. A lot of small towns out here cops get bored when working graveyard shifts and that’s when they usually pull people over for Tint, but like I said a lot of them don’t care about the tint. Honestly I’ve always had my cars tinted but never this dark however I’ve never got pulled over for tint. Last time I Got pulled over was driving the wife’s SUV lol. And yeah I was speeding! What part of AZ you located?

looks good. the white/tint contrast looks great. Too dark for me though, I had 30% when I lived in Fl an on the poorly lit side streets an back roads I struggled to see. about 10 years ago my daughter had 30 or 35% all around an got a $250 ticket. Now I know people going darker than that an even tinting the windshield an I haven't heard of them having problems. The guy that did my side windows said he makes you sign a waiver if you have him do the windshield an he said expect the be blamed an possibly sued if you hit someone.

Hey Bud thanks for the feedback. It’s the first time that I’ve gone that dark it has always been 35% and 20% so far no issues. Here in MA we don’t see windshield tints too often but I’ve seen a lot in CT. Even before being a LEO I’ve never got in trouble.

Small world, I grew up in Wilbraham and then moved out to Monson where I built my house back in '97. Wilbraham was way worse, they'd look for any reason to pull you over. They had this woman cop back in the 80's who'd pull you over for going 5 mph over. Funny thing because I knew the clerk magistrate up at the Palmer courthouse and every time I went before him he would dismiss my case and she'd be pissed! lol

I'm out in Goodyear,AZ in the west valley, I love it out here even the summers. It's hot but I couldn't deal with the cold and dreary days anymore back there. Plus there's so much more freedom (for now) to do what you want. There's so many places to off road and no ones chasing you off their property. We go shooting out in the desert at an old air strip. You can shoot out 600+ yards with nothing but mountains behind you. It's fenced off but the owner gave us permission to shoot there so we basically have our own private range.

Wow what a view ??! I’d love to visit AZ one day a good friend of mine lives out there and he always post some really cool pictures of all the landscapes etc... really cool. I prefer that view over a sandy beach at any time. I am 34 years old and I’ve been a cop for only a few years but I know for fact that Wilbraham are tough when it comes with the laws they don’t usually cut corners. Monson is a great little town I go by every once in awhile I applied there once but didn’t get it. Mass can be a pain in the butt when it comes to their gun laws but out here in the woods are way better than living in those big cities haha but off course does not compare to the freedom you have out there!

There's an outdoor range in Monson called The Springfield Sportsmans Club and the far back of my property abutted theirs. So every nearby property owner received a free yearly membership there. I loved living up in Monson,I build 2 houses there over the 20 years I lived there. The LE wasn't to bad there, nothing like Wilbraham or even East Longmeadow.

If you ever get out this way to see you friend let me know,we can meet up and go out shooting one day. I still love the beach scenery but I do love the desert. It's not as bare and brown and most think and just a short 2.5 hours north and you're up in the high country by Flagstaff where it's 7000'+ in elevation and loaded with Ponderosa Pines. Nice in the summers when it's 110 here in the valley and only mid 80's up there.

Hi Rodriguez and Dave,

Here is a tidbit... Back East, the laws are based on English law... It is not permitted unless specifically permitted.

In the West is is based on Western law. It is permitted unless specifically NOT permitted. It is a world of difference in our freedom out west! Example, if there is not a No U turn sign at an intersection, we can make a U turn....Never happen back East. Took a few months to get used to this. Love the freedom and especially the fact that there is open carry permitted and conseled carry without a license permitted. You do not have to tell a policeman that pulls you over if you have a gun in the car. Not that I ever carry, but I like the fact that I can.

When we first arrived, we were directed to the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum and then to eat at Tiny's, a western beer and burger joint. Loved it! Cowboys with their guns sitting at the bar... a slice of old western culture. Alas, times have changed and Tiny's changed to guns prohibited. Sad to have them cave to modern times. Still have to say the Steerburger is Tops with a Pacifico beer!

Looks good. It gets really hot here so I like to have the front tints to keep the heat out. I have probably gotten three front window tickets in the last 11 years or so, so i am debating on tinting my front windows or not.

You can get ceramic for the front window. Its basically clear. I live in NC...the state inspectors still will fail even that. My son lives in Georgia...not a problem.
I left Az probably 20 years ago with tint....got caught in Mo. Now, I'm to blind to see through the darker shades. But I did get dealer applied to the side windows.

I always heard the ceramic was really expensive. I know a buddy of mine did all 6 windows for $1,500...

When I was stationed in El Paso, I couldn't believe how brown everything was, different shades of tan and brown everywhere. It wasn't until I drove home after I got out of the Army, that I realized how green everything on the East coast is. A friend of mine now lives in Alamogordo. He came home for a family reunion a few Summers ago and he kept exclaiming how green everything was. I laughed because I knew exactly what he was experiencing.

We always said that West Texas would be a hell of beach...if there was any damn water.

Apparently the first settlers to the Tularosa Valley found a verdant grasslands. Overgrazing, the abnormally heavy rainfall stopping and the Dustbowl turned it into a desert.
