I'm a newb to this forum, and this is my second post. I just got a 2020 Ranger XLT Crew FX4. My first truck and first Ford. It's pretty much bad ass. I drove a VW Golf R before, but wanted something more practical. It only takes a few minutes to realize this is a fantastic vehicle.

So my questions are (1) do y'all have any consensus on where are some good sources to get OEM parts that are not through FoMoCo? Are there independent OEM parts dealers on the web? And (2) what are favorite sources for aftermarket parts and accessories? I'm particularly interested in some unobtrusive sliders, towing stuff, and cargo management.

And here's a pick of my new ride just for fun. Already removed the side steps (let me know if you want them).

The power of the internet is at your fingers. Find an OEM part number and GTS (Google That Shit). Same goes for aftermarket parts. There are plenty of Ford parts departments on the web.

Example, I wanted the Go Rhino DSS side steps. Searching the part number took me to sport compact warehouse, where they were about 200 less than everywhere else.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'm looking for some "favorites" with a little higher degree of trust than some of the chicken shit Google produces.

If I'm not mistaken you have about 45,000 rewards points. You can use those to purchase a few small items. I think it equals out to be 210 bucks. You will have to go through your ford dealer services though. They can ring you up through the service counter and then pick up through the parts department.

There is a sponsor on the forum, Levittown Ford Parts where you can get pretty much any Ford OEM parts. Benny is pretty active here and is very helpful.

For anything aftermarket, I tend to stay with "known" vendors even if they are slightly more expensive. If I find something too cheap, I always ask myself "how can they sell this so much cheaper than anyone else?". There is no such thing as a free lunch, IMO.

I have purchased through cheaperfordparts.com. It is a Ford dealership out of Sacramento, Ca. The prices have been very reasonable and all OEM. Oh, and by the way, I have an XLT FX2 the same color, and side rails. Nice truck.

So who are these more "known" vendors? That's what I'm looking for. If there's a top 5 vendors that are trustworthy and popular on this forum, who are they?

The only vendor other than Levittown that I've used has been tonneaufactoryoutlet.com for my tonneau cover - and I can highly recommend them. Not sure what other vendors people have good experiences with.

Check out the Sponsors tab in the menu bar. I have seen some of them run sales and special group buys from time to time exclusively for members of this forum

I'm interested. Any idea what shipping to Indiana would cost?
I have no idea what shipping would cost or even where I would go to do it. Is that something the UPS Store would handle?

Personal experience with aftermarket venders are stage3 and panda. Both I would buy from again and recommend

I've had good luck with Levittown Ford for OEM as previously recommended, RealTruck.com is also a good one. Stage 3 Motorsports is pretty good as well for aftermarket.
