What did you do to your Ranger today?

Seems logical that the harness would still be there even if the package wasn't ordered.

You can buy all the related wiring and plug to install the 12 volt power point and somewhere on here is a thread detailing that process. You would think Ford would just put that power point on all the Ranger's regardless of trim or bed liner options.

I did quite a bit of sanding and removed a decent amount of clear. If you catch the right light at an angle, you can see a very slight indentation from sanding. I could of leveled a bigger area to reduce that, but I really wanted to preserve as much clear as possible. It’s very unnoticeable and I’m pleased with the outcome, the scratch is gone 100%.

Keeping her out of the body shop is a win in my book

PDR should be able to remove that little ding. But for the chip.. touch-up paint is going to look like touch-up paint. You can spend anywhere from 1hr to 3 days on it, and it will still look subpar majority of the time.

If you want it to be perfect, it needs to go to a body shop. Touch-up paint is essentially a bandaid to cover the bare metal and make it less noticeable. I was always joke and say touch-up paint has different degrees of bad haha.

It's not a bad looking "battle" scar...I'll live with it for now...odds are, as soon as I spend big bucks fixing this up, another bolt will find me...you know Mr Murphy?

When the weather warms up, I'll pull it out with my PDR kit and touch it up...

Changed my power steering fluid - remember compared to your's my rig is 5 years old.

I installed my Bora 1” spacers and rotated the tires. I think that these spacers give it the perfect stance. I did find some evidence from the Ranger Jam on the left rear sidewall and touched up the wheel that was scraped.

Added a little extra storage space for straps small tools etc.. Now just have to wait to see how it holds up and if it gets in the way when i put things in the bed, but it is slimmer than the wheel and tailgate hump. Also no drilling required in the bed, so I can remove if needed without leaving behind holes
