Indeed they are! I’ve only encountered rubbing one time so far and that was with 3 people inside.
But based on what I’ve read, you can gain 1/4-3/8 of an inch by loosening the crash bars, pushing them forward and retightening them. Just haven’t done it yet.
I’m pretty sure these are them. Black & Size “S”
They look great and are inexpensive. I like them way more than the vinyl options.
Only thing to note is I replaced the double-sided tape it came with with proper 3M branded tape.
First wash today since installing my leveling kit, spacers & tires a couple weeks ago. Installed the Raptor Style Grille lights from Stage 3 today as well.

Shadow Black has blue metallic flakes in it. They tend to be very subtle under certain lighting.
Every Shadow Black vehicle from Ford has it. Anyone who says “no mine doesn’t” can’t see it lol. It’s there.
The paint code at body shops calls for blue flake as well.
CarPro Spotless is what I keep on hand for water spot removal.
However, depending on the water hardness, and how long the water spots have been on there, there's a chance they've etched into the clear coat and would require clay and/or machine polishing to remove.
A proper paint correction by a detailer will remove the swirl marks/light scratching and restore the gloss.
But the key to keeping paint swirl free (especially black) is how it’s maintained.
I recommend looking into a ceramic coating to make maintenance easier and it will be a stronger barrier...
I was going to comment on this yesterday but got caught up. Looks great. Most of that was paint transfer as I suspected.
I would be very cautious attempting to chase those out with a machine if you’re not that experienced. You’re hammering a couple leading edges where the paint is significantly...
Just finished a very lengthy detail! Full paint correction and coated with Gtechniq CSL & EXO. First oil change yesterday as well!
Tires ordered. Lift and spacers on standby!
Sprayed my bed liner with UPOL Raptor Liner. Was originally planning on going with Line-X, but had some time and decided to undertake this project myself instead. Really happy with the result. As always, prep is key and the most time consuming.
Also installed the DeeZee Tailgate Damper...
Mine came like this too. Just received it yesterday (Ordered from Stage3Motorsports).
I am confused as well, your post just reminded me to reach out to them for clarification.
PDR should be able to remove that little ding. But for the chip.. touch-up paint is going to look like touch-up paint. You can spend anywhere from 1hr to 3 days on it, and it will still look subpar majority of the time.
If you want it to be perfect, it needs to go to a body shop. Touch-up paint...
I did quite a bit of sanding and removed a decent amount of clear. If you catch the right light at an angle, you can see a very slight indentation from sanding. I could of leveled a bigger area to reduce that, but I really wanted to preserve as much clear as possible. It’s very unnoticeable and...
I had to wet sand this scratch out.
1500—> 2000—> 2500—> 3000—> 5000. You can usually get away with less grits but I didn’t want to cut any corners.
Followed up with machine polishing using Meguiar’s M100 Compound & Meguiar’s Microfiber Cutting Disc. Then polished out with Sonax Perfect...
Landscapers at my job hit my truck in the parking lot on Friday. Luckily, I detail for a living, although I wasn’t very confident this would come out 100%.
Graced by the detail and Ranger gods.. it miraculously did!
I’ll be doing a full paint correction and coating in April. Can’t wait for...
Love your truck man! Platinum white with the sport package looks so good!
Did you have to cut the studs with the BORA 1” spacers? Interested in doing the same ones on my truck.
