I got a VIN number and build date!

I have my VIN. Order was placed 8/14 and last digits are 01652 so I appear to be early in the queue.

I can't get the VIN to pull up on the website so we tried other VIN's as well and none of them are working. Is the website working for you guys that have pulled them in the past? Or am I just super computer illiterate?

I believe it is a stock order... could that make a difference?

It says, "We are unable to find the VIN you entered. Either the VIN is invalid or no information is available. Please check with your dealer for status on your vehicle."

It says the same thing for about 3 different vin's we tried.

Then it might be like you mentioned, because it's a dealer stock order and not a retail order. However the dealer should be able to see it on their end right?

Or could it be your order was not accepted by Ford? I know retail orders need to meet certain conditions (driver's license, signed buyer's order, etc.) before being accepted for scheduling. My dealer photo-copied my DL, made me sign a document and pay a deposit.

Okay, just got a VIN# and sequence is 3840 with a build date of Jan. 7th. Let the contest begin..........

Can you view your truck on Ford's tracking website and is it a retail order?

The dealer shows on his end that it has a build week of 12/24. I was just hoping to be able to track it on the consumer side too.

12/24 is Christmas week when the plant should be idle. However your order is dealer stock so it can potentially be produced as soon as November 26th.

I nearly shat bricks where ford claimed a guranteened delivery date by 7/1/19? on orders placed by 1/1/19. i couldn't imagine having to wait that long.

Could be worse. My brother was a day 1 Tesla Model 3 reservation holder. It took him over 2 years before he got his car.

Won’t you get dinged on your trade-in if it has bald tires? Also you won’t have to wait until summer if you preordered early.

You can find Jeep takeoffs , on Craigslist, for 350-500 mounted and ready to go. Most dealers will deduct a minimum 1k from trade, if they are going to have to replace tires.

yes I can review. Dealer is a friend and ordered what I wanted as a stock unit from allocation. Last one I ordered, he said order 1 of each stock/retail and take whichever comes in 1st and he would put other on lot.

Do vin's from both your stock and retail orders show up on the Ford tracking website?
