For some reason, every vehicle I have had was the best i had ever had. At the time. Except for the Chevettes. Those were crap and I just made them look good.

I've always thought it would be cool to put something stupid fast, like a built 350, in a Chevette and cruise around.

Side story: About 15 years ago I was cruising Hampton Beach, NH and I saw a mint condition two-tone Chevette cruising around. I was shocked.

<shaking my head> I had two. At least they were stick shifts and I drove them HARD. One was a T-Type. Not really, I had a friend that swiped some T-Type appliques that I put on mine. People did ask about it and I told them it was an option package that was extremely hard to get.

Chevettes = Shove-its

Don't knock them, Sir. They served a purpose. They gave people that didn't have much income access to a new vehicle where the fact that it was new would give them confidence and might, MIGHT, last long enough to get them to a better place where they could move up to a nicer vehicle.

I know that a 350 would fit in a Monza because I've done it but never tried with the 'vettes.
