The Ranger didn't make it into this pic, but I had the Scouts out camping two weekends ago. We were down at the end of a narrow, frozen dirt track, so I got to test out the 4WD paired with trailer control as I hauled the troop trailer out of there. Considering it was my first time with a trailer, it went well; happily, it wasn't a "crash" course!

It made it down to -15C overnight. Not the coldest I've ever camped in, but a decent low; it was between -5C & -10C during the day. It was a good introduction to winter camping for the kids, and an even better intro to camping in general to those who'd never been camping before.

The Bison kinda do what they want. Not sure how many head there are in the park, but I saw a couple dozen over two days.

Any geologists on the forum? I think the dark band is from when the Yellowstone volcano erupted 174,000 years ago.

You load that bike up in the back of that Ranger with that ramp? You my friend have a big ole pair on you. I would end up like the videos, wheels straight up in the air and broken taillights!

Translation from Latin
American: "When everything is flunked to death"
Canadian: "Keep your stick on the ice"
A lot of good quotes from that show - Steve Smith (Red Green) and his wife were a really cheesy sketch comedy/folk singing act called Smith & Smith on Canadian TV in the early eighties - kind of like the Smothers Brothers but with no budget and worse material. Who would have thought he’d become a legend?

The ramp is 50 inches wide, 10 feet long when fully assembled (folds in 3 sections), plenty of room to have both feet down all the way and ride it up. It took a little practice, and a clutch adjustment afterward, but the trick is to start about 8-10 feet behind, roll out the clutch fully and climb the ramp at low speed until the front wheel is in the box. Pull in the clutch, throttle off, and then creep it into the wheel chock; under power or not, depending on if the truck is slightly uphill or downhill. Stopping on the ramp is a no-no; back down and start over. The first try that I was successful I thought I might go right through the cab and end up on the hood!
The ramp sections fit well in the box along either side, and I lock the ramps and bike with 2 cable locks to the tie downs.
