Moon pies and RC Cola! I loved those as a kid. Have not had either in 55 years!

Yup, 1965, USN, Norfolk VA; renting a boat to fish what they called the 'back bay' for mostly channel catfish.
Got a moon pie and rc cola at the rental dock, every time.
Loved them, but, for some reason, haven't had them since those times.

Probably just as well, because they won't be as good now as you remember them being, or as big as you'll remember them.

You know you are in trouble when you get stopped in Moon Pie, Arkansas and this guy gets out of the cop car that is a 1987 Chevy Celebrity and empty mountain dew cans and bottles roll out with him and the siren on the cop car is that of a pig squealing.

They're still around. Many convenience stores have them. Walmart routinely sells 12ct boxes of them, albeit they're the mini's. Occassionally they'll have a 12ct of the larger size. I know because my wife likes them.

I notice that he has headlights but no front turning signal, which has me wondering if he rigged up the lanterns to be the turning signals.
