Thanks for the pics, DOC!

So, a bolt-on lowering kit, of some type, will need a "flip" on the axle [alignment components], rear leaf shackles to counter-effect the 6" drop and possibly shock extenders to do a proper 2 or 4 inch drop....

Seems like cheating to make it look a 4 wheel drive. Should I leave as is for less body roll ect. or make it look good?

Ive got a 2WD Lariat and I leveled it. Definitely changes the stance of the truck but not so much that the factory wheels look completely ridiculous. 2.25 Pro Comp is what I put on the front of mine

For the most part, yep.

Shorter rear shocks. I chose adjustable 20" Rancho's, both for the adjustable rate and open bushings to be easier to get spacers to fit the shock brackets.

On the upside, the front ends are near the limits of adjustment from the factory and after lowering the front end, there's plenty of adjustment available.

I leveled my FX4, but it was more about ride quality and road clearance than looks. Still, once I did it, I liked the look, too! My advice would be: it's your truck, do whatever you please with it! If anyone thinks you are "cheating," that is their problem!

Nice but not done yet, shorter trailing arms are being fabricated by Freakride...
Regards
Not just yet. I realized my 17 inch original tires are going to look wimpy on the front. When I wear them down maybe then. Also I'm wondering if the F150 rims have the same bolt pattern. If so, I'd bet there's plenty of 18 inch and up used sets priced right from the young boys around here I see riding in there new giant F150's. My wallet and I are patient until we know for sure.

That does look good. 2.25 Pro Comp is going on the shopping list. What size tire is that?

Is that a 2wd and raised in the front only? I'm shopping and wondering...2 or 2.5 inch in the front only to be level and definitely NOT be lower in the back
Yes, 2WD XLT Sport. 2" in the front only with the Fox kit installed by my Ford dealer.
I still love it. Well worth the $$ I spent.

Mine is a 2wd and it looks way better with it! I went with ford ranger lifts for now, planning to upgrade to fox soon. But it gets the job done and I love the look!

Ordered mine a few days ago, ride quality is still good? Any big changes?

Not at all! Rides 100% as good as factory. I went with 285/70r17 and did have to swap out my crash bars for bds ones. They are slimmer and let me go full lock.

So I recently put on some -25 offset rims and get a bitttt of scraping on my crash bar with my stock 255/70/R16 but they are definitely stretched a bit on the 16/10 offset wheels so I think I’m gonna have my guy cut a bit when I get the level done, do you recommend replacing them instead? With slimmer ones? Or if I consider going bigger tires down the line just saying screw it and cut away now? Added pics for reference.
