Seems like cheating to make it look a 4 wheel drive. Should I leave as is for less body roll ect. or make it look good?

I'm going to level my 2WD, just waiting on coilovers and shocks to come in. Would have lowered the rear if there was a way.

And yea, a real shame you can't lower the front an inch or two and the back 3 or 4 inches!!

I would level a 2wd. But I have no use for a 4wd I just like the look. I trail ride in Colorado so no real need for the extra moving parts. My Jeep Wrangler is for the hardcore stuff.

That's what I'm holding out for-
Even though mine is a 4x4

I know I'm the odd-ball here, but I wanna drop the ass end down instead....

Kinda wondering about using 2 inch aluminum "lowering blocks" that are the same width and length of the axle mounting plate...
Custom ordered/extended length U-bolts...

I wanted to lower the rear but raised the front instead. Actually very glad I went that route.
I hear ya,

My plan is, after getting 50% wear on the OEM A/S tires, is to plus-size the tires to 265/65R17 in Studless Snow/Ice [Blizzaks] on the OE silver-paint rims.
ALSO, from someone here, buy their OE 18's & plus-size to 275/60R18 Michelin A/S Highway tire

I have no plans for any aggressive width or height tires/rims.... just fill up the wheel-wells with a little bit more "meat"...

I say level it up,it doesn't have to be 4x4 to level it. The heck what anyone else thinks it's your truck and do as you please with it.

If you have a rear locker on that, you're 3/4 of the way to 4x4 performance. I wouldn't call it cheating to get some ground clearance then. If not you can always add one.

Do you plan to use it as a truck and haul stuff? Leveled trucks look wimpy when they carry enough of a load to make the rear sag. As for me I like the raked look,. The only reason I would level even a 4X4 is if it is primarily to be used as a serious off roader to get the ground clearance. To each is own, as has been said your truck your money.

Looks nice. Do you like it?
Love it. Best looking truck on the market and well designed. I think Ford hit a home run on this model. From my research everybody raves about the new Ranger with few complaints. It will be interesting to see how Ford does with the all new F150 coming out tonight.

Yep, Go ahead and level it. I'm pretty sure both 4x2 and 4x4 Gen 4 Rangers were all leveled.

Don't think manufacturers started lowering the front end until recently to help get better fuel economy (or meet fuel economy regulations, possibly).
