Wiring exhaust cutoff to somewhere in cab?

I have a QTP exhaust cutoff on my 23’ Ranger, just been running it with the flap open for the last 4 months. Need to wire up the electric switch.

Anyone have knowledge of the best place to get the wires up into the cab? Looking to put the switch between the two cigarette lighters.

I wired mine into the 12v (cigarette lighter) port on the dash. Just spliced in.

If you have the Tremor package, why not run to one of the pre-wired upfitter switches provided? Then you could tie into the under-hood box and wouldn't need to hack holes in your cab and dashboard?

They supply a switch, and it’s not really an on/off type of deal. It’s a two way switch that rotates a motor back and forwarth.

If it was able to hook up to that i’d for sure do that.

It's completely possible if you have up fitter switches. You can use them as the power source. It's a two wire red black coming out of rotary switch? Red hot, black ground? If your interested it can be done couple ways. With or without your supplied switch.
