How to raise and lower your windows with your keyfob on a Ford

I don't think I have ever seen this feature as he describes in the video. I think maybe the Rangers did not get it...
You are correct. The 5G rangers did not get this feature. They do not have the required door modules to have it. It can be added, along with auto folding mirrors, with aftermarket modules from a couple of Australian companies. Unfortunately they are no longer shipping to the US due to the current tariffs.

I got that from Google AI...no idea if actually works. It does work on my wife's Pilot but that is Honda. I just found that when looking for an answer for the originator. I realized after posting it was not a good explanation. I have no add-on for locks, but I do have a Lariat so maybe a difference between levels?
Proof that Artificial Intelligence truly is “artificial” syn. fake.

I did a search on Google using the exact text AI provided to you and the first hit was a video with a guy demonstrating this feature - the truck was a 6g.

With all the BS and incomplete information online (AI’s reference source), everything it generates is questionable. It assumes way too much and makes an ass of itself.

Especially the new AI generated predictive text that has been messing up my posts and text messages

and yet we, meaning everyone basically, are basing out futures on AI...I guess all we can hope for is it gets better.

By auto folding do you mean with a button? My Ranger has the ability to fold the mirrors in which is helpful sometimes as my one car garage is about 6 inches narrower than most.

Yes, this is why corporations are largely using their own databases of information and those of trusted sources. These are not without their problems, though. Look at the lawyers who are getting crapped on by judges when they use AI for the written arguments they’ve presented.

If they used paralegals and law clerks to write the same arguments, they would carefully proofreadthem. AI saved a ton of hours and they assume it’s correct and simply submit these things without really checking them.

Oops

What the 5G rangers got as an option was POWER folding. AUTO folding is when the mirrors automatically fold when the truck is shut off or the doors are locked and automatically unfold when the truck is unlocked or started.

Yeah, I don't have that...I have to push a button for mine to fold.

I have it on the XLT Sport with 302A and Tech package. It's a button push power fold, though, and not a true auto-fold when you turn the switch off or on.

I don't have either one of those. Mine is just a basic XLT Sport 4x4, I have to manually fold the mirrors in, but that's okay.

Is it that “hidden” button on the LH side of steering wheel. I have a plug insert there since I have the manual type.

I always find it difficult to find even when I know where it is around...
I recall some forum members saying they didn’t know they had that feature until they found the hidden button.

I knew it was there as it was something I wanted for the narrow garage, but I sure can understand why they would not know...
