Looking at the spot where my truck should be wondering why no business in my area can do what they say they’ll do when they say they’ll do it. Not just businesses. Modern humans are the same way for the most part. WTAF? I’m thinking the elites have it right…we need a major event that depopulates most of humanity!

Enjoying the amazing weather and thinking this getting old shit sucks. I’ve had two back surgeries. A few days ago something went in my lower back seemingly near where I already had a fusion. Have given it a week and not getting better. Probably going to have to delay my western fly fishing road trip scheduled for next week. 12 hours a day driving probably not a good idea right now damn it. Gonna have to call my back surgeon. Damn it!

oh yeah, Macanudo Bourbon flavored….

Had a CAO PILION 4x44 with son on the deck last night, July 3, as we watched our third generation shoot fireworks for 3 hours! All of us had a great evening.

Hot and humid! I never use ice in good bourbon, but it’s necessary today lol. Stogey is MonteCristo MONTE Toro that has been aging a while.

I do on occasion.
My dad does every evening. He figured a way to get Cubans into the U.S. bought them from Europe I guess. Gave me a few, I honestly don’t see the big deal?
He turned me onto these Kentucky fire smokes, I’ll have to find a ring off one and get the name, smell just like wood smoke when you take them out of the wrapper. I like them.

I’m with you on the Cubans. But, I’ve only smoked the Cohiba ones from duty free shops. And, some of those did by the old Key West Cuban street vendors. I like them, but worth the extra money?????????

Cubans are forbidden fruit. Nothing more. Can't have them? Gotta have them.

Local Blackhorse brewery. Vanilla Tennessee Ale and my first Kentucky Fire Cured stogey (made by Drew Estates). Regular not sweetened. Great little smoke.

Had a Deadwood Sweet Jane and a Shotgun Wedding Ale. Called my buddy I Florida and confirmed the next road trip. 7-10 days fly fishing/camping following in Ernest Hemingway’s Footsteps in the UP.

weather in early September should be perfect.
