So I just got done taking a ride on my mountain bike. In this ride I had to see how fast I could go on it. So on level ground I got up to 37.11 kmh. After coming in the house I realized it is a inherent need to find the fastest speed I can on what I ride, sit in, slide down the hill on etc. The fastest I have been on 2 wheels was 177MPH. That was on a R1.
So the attached file is from a app called Digihud. I am using on my bike to track speed, distance. It keeps track of max speed in lower left.

Not so much now but when I was younger we all did. It didn't matter if it was a skateboard or a snowmobile I'd usually have to see how fast I could go on it stock then tweak it out and do whatever I could to make it go faster. lol I remember buying a brand new Yamaha Viper snowmobile, bringing it home and tearing it apart to clutch it before it ever seen snow.

I did tune my Ranger (which I swore I wasn't going to do) and have fun with a few WOT here and there but overall I do drive it pretty tame. It's just nice to have the power there when needed or for some added GPS's..... Smiles Per Gallon. ? Fastest I've had it was 115 but that was for R5G research purposes.:inspect:

The fastest I've ever been was on my GSXR 1000 at 182 mph, that had a Yoshimura pipe and a power commander on it. Looking back it was dumb! But at least we were "smart" enough to do it out in the middle of nowhere so no one else would've been endangered.

Yes I was riding my R1 out across White Sands Desert area in New Mexico early on a Sunday morning as the sun was rising. But the border patrol sure heard me.

I had a Ninja ZX 1000 with a Muzzy full exhaust on it. It was so loud everyone hated riding with me. lol Late at night I could leave my friends house and he could hear me go through the gears and stop/start at every light all the way to my house which was a good 3-4 miles away.

I keep trying to not push limits, but it's hard sometimes. One bad snowmobile wreck as a teenager should have slowed me down but it didn't. Apparently you can go from 120 to 0 in about 3 feet if you hit a fence.
