The Anzos.

I always said that if I ever bought LED headlights that I'd get the Morimotos.

LED headlights were not really a concern for me since I rarely drive my truck at night, but then the Anzos showed up on a Black Friday sale for like $400 so I decided I'd give them a try.

Very pleased with them.

Anzo Headlights
i have the same ones and like them.

Side note: How do you like that Android head unit?

I see the CarWebGuru launcher there ?

How well does the system integrate with the rest of the truck?

Did you lose any factory functionality?

It seems everything runs though the head units on modern automobiles.

I love that thing. It's the Linkswell Gen6. All the Ford stuff still works. The steering wheel controls are the same. The HVAC is nicer. The audio is way better. It's less glitchy than Sync3. The Android Auto connection is more stable. It has its own SIM card, phone number, email, and wifi hotspot. I hated the Ford Sync3 system. I'll never go back. If this ever breaks,,, I'll buy a new one.

How is the performance of your high beams?

I got to drive around a bit last night and noticed something.

My low beams are a huge improvement over factory, the high beams not so much.

I had a set of LED bulbs in my high beams only with the factory lights and these are barely brighter.

I guess I was expecting the same level of improvement I saw with the low beams.

How are yours?

That doesn't really surprise me. It appears the high beams are not Projectors but LED reflectors through a lens. I would not expect them to be any better than your OEM high beams with drop in LEDs.

That's why I like my OLM lights, like the Morimoto's, they are three Bi-LED Projectors on both sides. Fabulous sharp cut-off on low beams and great distance and bright on high beams.

Exact same experience. I don’t get much improvement long range with the hi beams but see much better to sides where the deer are that I worry about.

Does the Ford pass stuff still work with these aftermarket units?
Yes it does.

I can lock the truck on screen while leaving it running. Jump out fast. And it will run with the doors locked. Then I unlock it with the app.

I got locked out and almost had a heart attack the 1st time I tried that. I didn't realize, for it to work, I have to close the app on my phone and then restart the app. Then I can unlock the truck and drive away. I do that if I'm just stepping out of the truck for a minute or 2... so my apps on the Linkswell stay open.

Each time you restart the truck, the Linkswell goes to its home screen. Android Auto starts immediately on its own. The connection is WAY faster and more stable than the Sync system. Then I manually open my driving UI and split the screen with Android Auto. That gives me every option I need while driving.

Can you make Android Auto take up more space? I think id rather have AA than that big widget thing. Appreciate the replies. I want one
