Has anyone installed these on their trucks? Im thinking about putting one in my bed. Its mainly used for firewood, and during hunting season the occasional deer. If so please share your thoughts and pictures.
Thanks!

All I can say is I would rather a drop in bed liner over no bed liner. That said a factory spray in is much better

Don't have a drop in liner in this ranger, but I've had trucks in the past with them.
Never had rotted bed floors, and in fact no rust at all.. Just scuffed paint.

The only downside I found is they're plastic so everything slides around. Maybe lay a strips of thin foam here and there, but honestly, I'm sure the drivetrain will crap out before the bed floor rots out...

I think it all depends on where you live and whether or not you wash the salt and what not off.

I lived in MN for a long time so plenty of salt. But yeah, I did make sure to rinse the crap off.

I suppose one could fluid film the hell out of the bed floor prior to install of the plastic liner.

When I bought my truck about a month ago I took another long hard look at drop in or spray. Reaffirmed my decision to pay for the spray. Line-X for the win. Went with the premium since the Line-X dealer told me the ultimate was overkill and unnecessary

I had a drop in liner in my old 1993 toyota PU, pre Tacoma. It was the old type where the liner extended over the top edge of the bed... the newer ones seem to only come up to the inside edge of the bed since the beds now have the plastic guards on the top of the bed edges.

So, I don't have experience with the newer drop in liners, but the old one rubbed the paint down to the metal over the years with the flexing of the bed, inside and out. Get a spray in, IMO.

My truck came with the factory spray in, but I also added a bed rug, too, to add padding for my knees when crawling around in the bed. I like the rug alot.

Same here. Got the Bullet Spray In. Also got the Bed Rug Mat that just covers the floor, and the Bed Rug Tailgate Protector. Carry our camping stuff, folding chairs, break down table, mats, ect in the bed and I'm in the bed almost daily when camping. Makes it real easy on the hands and knees.
Anything messy, like a dump run, I just throw a tarp down.

Spray in bed liner is always best IMO. Dealer will put same matching coat with your step side (Tremor).

My only issue with bed liners, drop-ins, is rust. Had one on my super duty in the past, water from rain etc.. would seep underneath and rust spots would start to appear. Ditched it and got a Bullhide spray in..

My drop in, in my '07 didn't rust the bed out terribly, but I kept it sprayed well with Fluid Film underneath. My biggest issue was with the plastic bed rail covers. My rails totally rusted away. I'm going to remove them on my 5G and get them LineX'ed.

I got a Toff spray-in liner when I purchased the truck on a rainy February Thursday in 2020. The dealer took care of it and all was ready when I picked up the truck that Saturday morning. 3 years and almost 30K miles later no issues.
