Bed Tailgate Liner

Received tailgate liner but wasn't really a good install. The holes that are in the liner are too big for the screws that are in the tailgate. I had to put bigger washers underneath screws to mount, ford should include some big washers or make smaller holes in liner. liner itself was fine.

There are different fasteners that come with the liner. They fit just fine.

I just picked up my tailgate liner from the dealer and it came without any hardware or fasteners. Dealer said it looks like the fasteners only come with you buy the bed liner and you cannot order the hardware separately.

I said WHAT???

Doesn't make sense that you can order the tailgate liner separately but have to order the bed liner to get the fasteners for the tailgate liner. Looks like the fasteners are a combo washer with a cup (so the bolt is recessed).

How are other installing the tailgate liner if you just purchased the tailgate liner and not the bed liner?

They omitted the fasteners for my rear mud flaps as well. Dealer had to reorder them as they could not locate fasteners separately.

Dealer is telling me that they can't even order the fasteners separately - they only come with the bed liner and not the tailgate liner

Wow...Someone at Ford made a huge mistake...This should have never happened IMO.... Sad to have to admit Ford dropped the ball on this one.
