Is anybody else having this problem?? I have little to no airflow out of the vents if I combine the bottom and middle vents. But a lot of airflow If I do one or the other. I’m not having any other hvac problems besides the passenger vents get a lot colder air than the driver vents

Have you tried changing the cabin air filter?

No I’ll have to look at that. Wouldn’t that affect all the vents?

A plugged cabin air filter would. Take it out and blow it out. Check for any little critters that might have crawled in there to nest. Put the filter back in and see if your air flow improved. Worth a shot!

Same thing here. When using both upper and lower vents the airflow is weaker than just using upper or just using lower. I figured it was natural. It is definitely not a clogged filter in my case. Waiting for others to chime in.

What about the ac? I feel the passenger ac is freezer cold and the driver is just a 70* breeze even on max ac
Do you have dual zone? Mine does that when they're set at different temps.

yes.

Yes But max ac puts both temps at low and recirc and max flow. Still passenger gets colder air than driver

Same thing with my Lariat. Have to keep the fan on 4 with bottom and dash vents turned on to keep it cool when heading into the sun. That big black dash holds a lot of heat when the sun hits it directly.

try the sequence you turn on combined vents

first the lower and then the middle might be different than vice versus

try both ways

mine matters… but won’t be equal

the fan moves air at a certain cfpm.

so imagine if you had one outlet from a fan pushing 100 cfpm

you can expect 100 cfpm coming out of that one vent

open 2....you can expect 50 cfpm each

open 10 you can expect 10 cfpm each

the outlet is the same cumulatively at 100 cfpm, but each individual vent drops in volume.

the more exits you have, its obvious the volume of air will feel less .
When I say reduced air. I mean the air compared to one vent is extreme. I’m getting literally little to no air on both vents bro. It’s hard to explain but I feel I should be getting more pressure

I have the same issue from day one. Im a big fan of feet and face. Im used to reduced flow but this is bad. If i do not select anything and let it do auto it is a better balance. Just odd. And to the 100cfm flow idea, its not 50/50 its like 20/20 and the other 60 is lost.
