@Grumpaw I want to tow. Ok TBC installed getting Toyo LT ATIII and NextGen Clearview mirrors for my 2021 FX4 lariat. What is the best performance vs weight WDH hitch? I’m looking at airstream but not sold due to price. Any suggestions on all of the above?

I don't know that a lot of us have actually looked into WDH weight.

You are starting at a disadvantage having a Lariat trimmed Ranger. Your payload is going to be a decent bit shorter than what some of us have, so you'll need to keep a closer eye on that.

If I had to take a wild stab at it, I'm guessing the Anderson WDH would be the lightest choice, just from looking at them.

Looks a lot lighter than this:

Any of your better quality WDH like Blue Ox, Curt, Reese, ect, will weigh 100-120 lbs. This is the head, shank, bars, ect. An Anderson will weigh 50-60 lbs depending on the length of the shank.
I have a Blue Ox set up and have used their stuff for many years. Have no experience with the Anderson, but those who have their set up swear by it.
ClearView mirrors....best set up you can get for the narrow body Ranger.

I will agree with @Grumpaw on buying a quality WDH. Also make sure to get the correct one for your load that will be towed. To still or too soft will not help you at all.

I bought these and they work quite well, quiet and secure

Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-on Trailer Towing Mirror

A LT tire will have a neg impact on fuel milage, I lost ~ 1.5 mpg replacing SL with XL (43lbs)

Clearview mirrors are expensive, but fantastic. My Equalizer wdh is very heavy. The Anderson is the lightest I know. My Equalizer is very good at both weight distribution and sway control.

Nahh, it is actually negative weight. That's how the new Superduty Ranger is going to come equipped from the factory to tow 5er's and goosenecks!
