It would if the door were as wide or wider at the bottom than it is at any other point. Otherwise, wishful thinking. E.g., a rear door which is cut narrower at the bottom to clear a tire or a side which bulges in the right/wrong way. Even the ranger's sides are wider in the middle than the bottom. Certainly, some doors will hit the bars. But others won't.If you think about it, this rock slider is just high enough to allow the doors to open...if this truck is sitting 3-5" higher than stock, then all other door besides another truck at the same height would strike the bar before the door...
