If you think about it, this rock slider is just high enough to allow the doors to open...if this truck is sitting 3-5" higher than stock, then all other door besides another truck at the same height would strike the bar before the door...
It would if the door were as wide or wider at the bottom than it is at any other point. Otherwise, wishful thinking. E.g., a rear door which is cut narrower at the bottom to clear a tire or a side which bulges in the right/wrong way. Even the ranger's sides are wider in the middle than the bottom. Certainly, some doors will hit the bars. But others won't.

I’m definitely on board with protection for the $995 taillights. I will most like never take my pavement princess off-roading, but I hate the gnarly looking welds on the underside. I’d like to hide them with some very tight rock sliders. Im 6’3 and don’t need or want steps. As for the front, I’m still on the fence as to what I want.
The Bushwacker setup hides the welds and helps protects the paint down low. After installing the OEM step I noticed it also protects the paint from the shoes of those using the step.

Unless your Ranger is sitting higher with larger tires...most SUVs are low by comparison to mine...something like this would definitely intercept their door:)

Hey, brother; remind me, por favor, what company these are.

Any interference installing with the OEM step?

Do I need to uninstall to put these on?
I think it's doable with the step on but personally I'd pop it off to make the job easier.

There's a bunch of double-sided tape strips you need to deal with during installation...the more access the better IMO.

The job can appear a bit daunting at first but if you take it slow and follow the directions it's not hard. Cleaning the surfaces really well is key...a few alcohol wipes isn't going to do it properly...I'd suggest getting some denatured alcohol from Home Depot or Lowes.

Yeah, I hate the gnarly looking welds on the underside, too. I do not need a step and my wife does not like them because they dirty the back of your pants legs.

I hate the look of that underside tab, too. Just unsightly. I am thinking of some kind of tape applique, or having it painted black to match the frame.

The bushwhacker mentioned above is $199. I’m the considering about that as a fix.

Someone posted here a while back that they painted that pinch weld black which makes it disappear pretty well. I'm considering doing that as well.

I did that...maybe someone else too...but the effect was minimal since I have Magnetic...If you have light color this would be a great mod...
