On Rangers, it is hard to imagine why "side vents" would need protection, since they have no openings! Still, from a marketing point of view, you have to admire the folks who sell us fake side vents and real fake side vent protectors....

They have openings. Just not useful. When I took mine off, I was going to run an led inside but decided not to.

I installed several of these all over my truck. Used crazy glue, 2 sided tape but best
install was using duck tape. Fine print say's +5 hp & +3tq!
MAN! I'm spinning all 4 tires from each stop sign & I'm not even in 4wd!
