One of my friends has the current Vdub Amarock utes (has the Audi 3 litre V6 diesel in it). Goes OK, is nice to drive, and tows his 3000 Kg Caravan easily, but the bodywork makes the Rangers thin panels look like tank armour by comparison. Any minor bump automatically turns into a door ding. He's considering trading it for one of the new ones next year despite being a dyed in the wool GM camp supporter. I keep telling him it's really a Ford in disguise. I'll let you guys know how it stacks up when he does.

Yep exactly like the Mazda BT50 which was sold here up until last year. This year on Mazda source their BT 50's from Isuzu instead.

what is the purpose of them? no us model trucks come with anything like that unless you add it to bolt lights to like in the 80s-90s


well i take that back the zr2 had something like it but it was for adding lights to it
