My February built 2019 is a keeper! Owned since new, and no plans to downgrade :) 60k miles.

Well done on the engineering Phil!
I also have a 2019 that was a custom build, and just turned 60k. Mine is slightly newer - with a March build date.

Our resident Ford engineer/sage is greatly missed. Even though my Ranger is a 2020MY, it has a November 2019 build date, so that might still count - bought new in Feb 2020, 46K, no complaints - steady as she goes Mr. Sulu.

May His Face Shine upon you Phil, and the Peace of the Lord go with your and your family.

Hi David,

Currently, Tito is fast asleep under my computer desk toe kick....he moved out of Margie's studio to under my computer desk in mid October. Here are a couple pix of him, the last one is a fun Google AI called Whisk. It is called a Pushie...

Good to hear from you sir!! One of these days I'm going to want to meet you in person and it is doable since me folks live close to you in the great metropolis of Morenci. If you might be interested in the next few months, shoot me a message. My parents have a nice smoker if that suits your fancy!

The question of the day: Can I dubb my truck "Ranger GTX4 "?
Hi Keneth,

You can dubb it anyway you like...Ford Corporate will not chase down one off designations...That said....Great conversion....We had a North South manifold on the drawing board. Our stumbling block was we could not package A/C due to the steering gear being in the way... Otherwise it was a go program. Once Ranger went to rack and pinion steering this would be a no brainer, but SHO was toast by that time. Now with the DI engines, the performance differential is a moot point except that we could twist the engine to 10,000 rpm which is not possible with the current DI engines in stock form.

Enjoy your ride!

Best,
Phil

On your OP, Phil, I think I'd do the same thing with my '19 if given the opportunity. It's pampered just like yours.
