Unable to Locate Vehicle, FordPass

Mine will find my vehicle, but it says my fordpass points are "Unavailable" and for me to "please chat with a FordGuide"

I had the same problem with mine. It wouldn’t show the location or the current millage in the vehicle details. But I could still lock and unlock the doors. To fix it, I deleted and reinstalled the app and it started working again. I have an iPhone. I hope that helps.

i did the uninstall and reinstall too. I got back the location, but then it reverted back to miles again. the journey feature worked two days ago, hasn't since.
such a shit show this app is.

That’s truly unfortunate that you are having continued issues with the app. I’ve enjoyed the features of the app myself and was thankful reinstalling it worked. It’s better than the Mercedes Me app that my wife has for her car. Are you using an android or IOS phone? (Just curious).

I have a iPhone 8+ and have had no problems. I've tried it several different places and each time it shows exactly where my truck is parked.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. There's a million different android phones and the coding has to accommodate all of those slight differences. Then there's iPhone's.

I got a message from FordPass saying that sometimes you will have to reinstall. Unfortunately, I deleted that message. Check your FordPass Message Center.

So, I uninstall it and reinstall. Location came back, but the units are still broken for me. The funny part is that units wife's broken for my wife's phone as well, but sometime last week it fixed itself somehow.

I uninstalled and re-installed and location is working again. I got a survey on how I liked it. I didn't rate it very well due to it being pretty slow to load and these kinds of issues. When it works it is kind of cool, but it is pretty flaky. The reinstall did not fix the FordPoints issue however, just the location issue.

Clearing app data will fix (Android) without having to uninstall/reinstall.

Also uninstalling does not always erase the bad app data unless you reboot during the process. Clearing app data will circumvent this as well. Skipping either step can load the previous app data back at reinstall.

Had same problem. Just erased phone data (no app reinstall) and is now working.

Anyone else run into this issue in FordPass app? It shows everything else updated, but for over a week now it has been unable to locate my truck using the GPS feature.
