not to be a dick, but you were told of this magical button in your original plowing thread

You're only a dick in that you assumed everyone's truck was like yours.

I actually practiced turning it off after the last snow. When you first put it in reverse and start moving, there is a notice that pops up on the display (not sync screen) that says rear parking enabled and gives you a few seconds to turn it off. This time however for some reason I didn't hit it on time or missed it, and the whole rest of the time plowing it never gave me the option again.

Just so y’all know. 2020 XLT Sport 301A with tow package. Here’s my buttons. OP is correct, when I reverse I get the message in instrument cluster asking if I want to turn it off. Lasts about 3 seconds and it’s gone.

not quite
had you not been blind as a bat (you actually replied to that post) and said nothing about the button he pointed at as your solution, then you could have stopped the conversation about it back then. This thread would have never existed.
Didn't need to reply, as I said, I thought I found the answer and was ready to roll with it this last snow. When that didn't work, this thread......

Hi James,

I think I was able to turn mine off. I went to the”Driver Assist” menu. I accessed it using the arrow keys on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Then deselect “Rear Park Aid.” I don’t know if this will reset every time or not. Good luck with the snow!
Edit: I don’t have the front parking sensors or the button on the center console either.

Here’s what I did:
Just tried this today. I think this is the answer if I don't catch the pop up message in time.

I hadn’t ever paid attention to the pop up, until your thread. Good to know I can disable it using the pop up or the setting.

Yep, but you have to be quick, and it resets itself at least as soon as you turn off the truck.
