Has anyone had a problem with there truck after a tune is installed? I did one on mine and after it will feel like it downshifts to a low gear and go into limp mode! i pull over and shut it off for a minute or 2 start it up and away i go until the next time it does it! talk to the tuners but cant come up with fix! Thanks for any help

You might want to list your tune vendor so you can get feedback from others with the same tune. I have Livernois and no symptoms as you described. Only thing was that the transmission had to relearn after flash.

I too have the Livernois tune and have no issues. So far I've tried the 91-93 performance tune and just flashed the tow tune last week.

I would suggest getting rid of the act flash and going to one of the reputable tuners like Livernois. Well worth the money for you.

SCT has been in the tuning business for years! They make the tuning device! Typically they are very conservative/safe tunes.

Did you have your truck serviced at the dealer lately? I know Anthony at Livernois told me to re flash the stock tune when going in for service. The dealer will check your truck for any updates and if they instal them that will mess up your tune.

Before you re enter your original tunes you need to check the codes from your device to see if they still match the original ones.

They r working on there ranger to replicate the problem and will have new tunes for me! Ya ford has a tune for it to but it is $850.00! thanks for the help!
